Ergonomics are common hazards in the workplace. It is the duty of the employer to ensure a safe working environment for the employees. Therefore, part of the employer’s obligations involves ensuring that even the implements that the employees use are friendly and easy to use. Employees must not strain to make the usage of company machinery achievable. It is clear that computers are some of the leading causes of ergonomics that cause strain to different body parts such as the eyes, back, and fingers amongst many others (Sepp et al., 2018). The employer has to ensure that the use of technological implements such as computers are relatively friendly to use. An implementation of a safety initiative pertaining to ergonomics involves safe and effective use of technology. The effective use of technology is essential in care promotion approaches as it helps in easing up work within the care facility.
