Functions of three branches of government
A government is a mirror of the people who it works for this is because it determines their happiness and satisfaction with the way it does it work. In the healthcare sector, the government is responsible in checking whether the hospitals meet the required standards for operation. It is the responsibility of a government to make sure that no one who goes against the law to practice what is harmful to the public or it is against the public good. A government is made up of three main branches which facilitate its role towards delivering to its citizens; these three branches include the executive, legislature and the judiciary (Pozgar, 2010). This paper evaluates the functions of these three branches of government.
Executive
The executive branch of government has an agency which is known as the Office of the Government Ethics and was founded by the Ethics in government Act of 1978 (Pozgar, 2010). This Office of Government Ethics agency works closely with the executive branch to ensure that there is no any conflict of interest on the side of employees of the government and also it helps to offer appropriate solutions to those conflicts of interest that have happened.
