Every student-athlete’s dream is to obtain an athletic scholarship upon entering college and compete at a collegiate level. Paying for college does not come cheap and scholarships offered by colleges and universities are a great help for students in funding their education. These athletic scholarships are agreement which usually lasts for only a year while some are offered multi-year.
The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) is an organization that is established to monitor the well-being and success of athletes at the collegiate level. To be granted with NCAA scholarship, one must be eligible and should be able to pass all the requirements. However, there have been issues regarding the eligibility of some students.
