The professionals are essential in supporting healthcare concerns financing through cohesive undertakings with other stakeholders such as legislators, administrators, and policy due to the necessity to close the enlarged gap involving insurance plan unpredictability, Medicare Trust funding, and health-related expenses (Cleveland et al., 2019). Therefore, nurses are likely to remain exceptional in shaping American healthcare due to their teamwork engagement and patient care understanding in society and health facilities.
How Quality Measures and Pay for Performance Affect Patient Outcomes
           Pay for Performance (P4P), also known to others as performance-related pay, denotes an organization’s programs that compensate workers depending on how they commit to work and perform the given task. Institutions that use P4P strategies primarily offer specific instructions describing whether actions or performance assessment outcomes result in boosted payments. However, the program can also imply penalties whenever the health care providers involved fail to meet performance thresholds and specific quality measures. If appropriately structured and targeted, such programs would promote health systems and providers’ behavior to enhance the quality of healthcare produced, decrease pointless usage of costly services, and, most importantly, increase patient health results.
