As a medical personnel, communication is a key skill the best helps with the delivery of the best health care. This is the case given that the patient and the professional are able to communicate effectively; where the patient expresses clearly their needs and the professional explains the available options to give the best outcome (Helpguide.org, 2016).
From the questionnaire, it is evident that the main communication style is associated with being a good listener. Ideally, this is with reference to letting the other party express their views without having to interrupt them at any given point. This further assists with trying to connect with the party on a much deeper sense and build a stronger bond.
One of the aspects that affects effective communication techniques is associated with the limited ability to say ‘No’ when it is required (Bramhall, 2014). This level of assertiveness is still lowly developed and there is need to come clearly whenever a question or a request that is inappropriate is made.
