Introduction
Gait is a condition that is associated with a pattern of walking. Although walking is a more straightforward concept that comes naturally to the human body, however, at the same time, it is the most complex body function. It involves the neurological and musculoskeletal systems and cardiorespiratory apparatus (Pirker & Katzenschlage, 2017). Gait is a condition entirely influenced by age, behaviour, form of the lively hood, and attitude. This condition is commonly found in elderly people. The leading causes of gait are neurological conditions like motor and sensory impairments, orthopedic issues like skeletal deformities or osteoarthritis, and other medical conditions like heart stroke, obesity, metabolic ailments, infections, and cardiorespiratory condition.
Discussion
Gait condition is also correlated with the formation of corns. Foot corn is a condition that occurs as a natural physiological response of the body to chronic mechanical irritation from poor-fitting shoes, excessive pressure due to foot deformity, or skin friction. It occurs to protect underlying tissues from blistering or from further damaging of skin. They have clear margins, are relatively localized, are smaller, and have a well-defined translucent central core.
