Purpose
The purpose of the Certification Study Plan assignment is to create an effective strategy to prepare for the national certification exam based on personal strengths and opportunities for growth.
Course Outcomes
This assignment enables the student to meet the following course outcome:
CO 1: Appraise personal and professional growth toward achieving mastery of the NONPF Competencies and the Essentials for Master's Education in Nursing. (PO 5)
CO 2: Demonstrate a command of essential knowledge needed for safe, quality practice as a psychiatric mental nurse practitioner. (PO 5)
CO 3: Demonstrate competencies essential of the psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner role as leaders and advocates of holistic, safe, and quality care. (PO 5)
CO 4: Independently formulate a management plan addressing health promotion, disease prevention and health protection for patients and families across the lifespan using evidence-based guidelines. (PO 5)
Due Date
Students must complete the Certification Review Plan and submit it to the dropbox by Sunday at 11:59 p.m. MT.
Students are expected to submit assignments by the time they are due. Assignments submitted after the due date and time will receive a deduction of 10% of the total points possible for that assignment for each day the assignment is late. Assignments will be accepted, with penalty as described, up to a maximum of three days late. After that point, a zero will be recorded for the assignment.
