Caring can be described as the 'essence' or 'core' of nursing and significantly influences nursing research, philosophy, and education. According to Sebring and Jong (Sebrant & Jong, 2020), there are central elements to the caring practice that are separated in their simplicity but, simultaneously, coherent so that no part can exist without the other.
