Child nursing also knows as breastfeeding, becomes one of the most effective ways to survive healthily during its early stages. Breast milk from a mother a healthy mother is one of the ideal foods for infants. It is safe and has antibodies that help maintain an infant's health from chronic illnesses. Breastfeeding provides nutrients and required energy to the standardized needed in an infant in a couple of months, and it later goes on to support the up to half nutrients need for the child during the second half of the first year to one-third of the second year of life.
Statistics indicated that approximately 2 out of the three infants worldwide breastfeed for the required six months. These statistics have been useful in devising programs to enhance lactating mothers' wellbeing. Accordingly, out of the 84.1 percent of infants born in 2017, only 58 percent adhered to breastfeeding's six-month recommendation. The ratio of breastfeeding infants supplemented with the infant prescription before the age in 3 days recorded 19 percentage in many infants born within 2017 (King, 2019). Generally, rules protecting infants' breastfeeding have undermined medically unnecessary system supplementation, emphasizing disparities in breastfeeding among infants from different socioeconomic backgrounds.
Breastfeeding is associated with better physical and emotional mothers' health during the lactation and the life to come. Breastfeeding cessation indicated heightened thresholds of postpartum depression and anxiety.
