Discuss how this particular individual has adopted leadership as a vocation. Additionally, from the perspective of a leader, describe which qualities of this person you would seek to emulate in order to inspire followership, including which shortcomings of this leadership approach would you attempt to overcome. Be sure to cite examples from the book and integrate a minimum of four secondary sources on leadership theory to support your analysis.

LEADERSHIP AS A VOCATION.
The success of any organization, business, company, or government to succeed depends on the type of leader who leads and controls the operations. If the leader is visionary and leads the others to reach for the set goals and missions, the firm's success is assured. A leader should be able to provide solutions to unpredictable events without any delay. Leadership is a calling, not a duty someone is supposed to fulfill. Although many people are usually motivated by the desire for money, social class, and other motives, leadership should be driven by character and the person's capacity to lead others. (Kolodinsky, 2017) Some history leaders have portrayed excellent leadership skills, and Billy Graham is not an exception (Monitor, 2020), a great leader who portrayed leadership skills worth emulating.
I selected the book by Harold Myra and Marshall Shelley titled the leadership secrets of Billy Graham. The book is about Billy Graham, whom they address as one of the great leaders who ever existed in history. His vocational leadership is shown by how he never changed his personality even when he was in power. Myra and Shelley clearly outline how Graham led his Christian life and made Christ known to the world. All his teachings were based on the scriptures and serve God all along. Due to this, many people admire him and his ways of leadership. Additionally, Graham had an uncanny capability to adapt to different world trends and use them for evangelical purposes. For example, Graham was proud of his origin and did not try to hide his southern accent. Graham also understood the role media played in the post- World War II. Graham developed different radio and television programs like the "Hour of Decision."
Graham was a coach who embraced partnerships and collaboration with people. Graham portrays a coach leadership style, which mainly involves coaching and motivating people. The authors portray how he accommodated criticism, always embraced to his mission, formed teams, and handled temptations appropriately (Myra & Shelley, 2005). This contributed to a significant stride in the success of his ministry. This because he taught teams how they complete each other rather than competing one another. Graham refused offers from rich people and considered them as distractions stop him, making Christ known to the world. He always lived on a Christian-based way of life and never changed to conform to the world's desires.
