He has no family other than his wife, who verbalizes sadness over his declining health and over her inability to get out of the house. She is overwhelmed with the stack of medical bills, as Mr. P always took care of the financial issues. Mr. P is despondent and asks why God has not taken him.

Congestive heart failure is simply a group terminology, used to describe various types of heart ailments related to malfunctioning of the heart tissues. It is a condition that progresses steadily and can result in severe malfunctioning of the heart. The heart, under this condition, cannot efficiently pump blood to all the body organs. The heart therefore, isn’t performing to the optimum levels that it should.
Approach to care
The approach in this case will entail an all-round assault, incorporating both conventional forms of treatment and nutritional therapy. The weekly visits of the patient at his home by the medical personnel would be important since it helps in assessing the progress of the patient. It would also help in assessing the prescription, so that it can be known as to whether there would be a change in it or not. This also comes with medical procedures such as intravenous diuretics and other necessary laboratory tests(Maron & Salberg,2006).
Treatment plan.
A deeper look into the patient’s medical history would play a key role in ascertaining if it’s hereditary. According to Olivotto et.al. (2012), lifestyle behavior such as alcoholism and drug use are also contributing factors to cardiomyopathy. It is therefore also important to analyze such things as well.
