A plan of care is greatly influenced by age, lifestyle, race, and demographics. There are various examples of partiality in healthcare based on age, lifestyle, race and demographics.
Example 1
A research conducted by Ruckman and CEN in which participants from different races were selected include Hispanic, Asian, black and white. The ages of participants were 55-69, 40-55, and 18-39. The aim of the study was to observe the social risk factor scrutiny system to the healthcare experience. 8.5% of Blacks stated that they were treated in a worse manner as compared to other races (Ruckman and CEN, 2018). They showed emotional and physical signs. 4.9% of Hispanics stated being treated badly.
Example 2
Another study was conducted by Fuentes and Colleagues to analyze the quality of healthcare among 15 to 17 years old girls (Fuentes, Ingerick, Jones, & Lindberg, 2018). It is observed that confidential healthcare was least common among girls with age group 15-17. Black girls get time alone with the provider as compared to white girls (Fuentes, Ingerick, Jones, & Lindberg, 2018).
