Many things are changing along with the rapid changing of the world too. The recent pandemic is the best example of how the world has changed and adapted to the changes. The pandemic has affected several aspects of life, including the aviation industry. The changes also include the new threats the training department will face across all aircraft fleets. Fortunately, the training department can also mitigate the effects of the threats. Therefore, the world and several factors will bring threats, but there are possible solutions.
There are several threats that the aviation industry is currently facing; however, a department is also responsible for mitigating the effects of the threats. The effects of the pandemic are one of the major threats. The threat concerns the passengers’ health and safety (Dube et al., 2021). Moreover, since airports and airlines use technology extensively in their operations, their technology can also be a threat (Lykou, 2018). Fortunately, training development can still mitigate those. A training department is essential for all airlines. The department is responsible for training all its employees to provide quality services, safety, and comfort to their passengers. In addition, the training series will allow the employees to identify the areas for improvement and help them acquire the knowledge and skill they need to contribute to their career and personal growth (Beena, 2019). In conclusion, the training department identifies potential threats and risks and takes immediate action to mitigate them.
