Five Sources of Law and Their Significance and Types of Crime: Inchoate Crimes, Crimes against Persons, Crimes against Property
Law is the system of rules and regulations that a specific country recognizes in regulating the actions of its citizens (World Bank Group, 2017). Violation of laws can lead to government actions such as fines and imprisonment. Moreover, violation of laws can result in private actions such as legal judgment against the offender in case of causing physical or mental harm to the defendant by an action which is prohibited by the law (Bora Laskin Law Library, 2016). They are various sources of law that include constitutions. Constitutions in each country define the organization of governments and their responsibilities.
