The first assigned reading is the article “Challenge in Enhancing the Teaching and Learning of Variable Measurements in Quantitative Research” by Kee et al. (2013). The study used the quantitative research design to compare the outcomes of the “group quiz” and “challenge the challenger” approaches implemented in improving teaching quality and learning statistics. The method was appropriate because the study aimed to test the efficacy of each teaching and learning strategy relative to each other.
