Flipped classroom strategy

This strategy involves moving the classroom by utilizing technology such as pre-recorded videos which can be accessed outside the classroom and engaging students in the classroom using student-centered learning activities.

Teachers can plan the lessons they want to flip and then provide students with pre-recorded videos or YouTube videos to go through when out of the classroom. Then, during class time, students can discuss the content with the assistance of the teacher.

Building positive interaction with students

Involves building a rapport with students by recognizing their efforts and positive behavior (Clark, 2015). Through positive interactions, teachers and students can have quality relationships.

Teachers can assign relevant work to spark interest from students. This would require the teacher to first know the interests of different students.

Teachers can ask students to explain what they think about a certain topic in writing before assigning work to them. This will allow the teacher to identify their interests.
