Learning Styles
Learning is a continuous and individualized process that requires effective strategies to succeed. In today's education, people must stay informed of the available strategies and resources to provide more personalized learning. One of those resources is learning styles. Learning styles are unique learning approaches that enable learners to perceive and understand information more efficiently. Personal traits, educational and background experiences, and level of motivation affect how people learn (Awla, 2014). These variables determine the learning style that suits an individual. People think and reason differently, so everyone has a preferred learning style that enables them to consume and understand information effectively. The different learning styles include visual, auditory, read/write, and kinesthetic.
Visual Learning Style
Visual learning is learning through visual or spatial representations such as images, charts, diagrams, graphic designs, and anything that explains ideas (Awla, 2014). Visual learners can recall knowledge and retain information better by viewing visual aids. They prefer picturing information in their minds and internalizing them. The best way to teach visual learners is by visually showing them the connection between different ideas (Thepsatitporn & Pichitpornchai, 2016). Visual learners prefer reading in a quiet environment in the classroom since their focus is observing ideas. To succeed in their studies, their watch videos, copy everything demonstrated by the teacher and pay attention to visual aids.
Auditory Learning

They best understand information by listening and speaking in lectures and group discussions. They would rather listen to a lecture than read written notes, and they often reinforce new ideas and concepts through their voices (Xu, 2011). These people enjoy group collaborations, podcasts, and talks because of vocal presentations. They are not afraid to speak in class and are good at verbal communication, which enables them to explain concepts. They also participate in class activities by asking and answering questions. Auditory learners can benefit from lecture recordings and group activities that require explaining ideas verbally (Thepsatitporn & Pichitpornchai, 2016). Watching videos and listening to music and audiotapes are also significant ways of learning for this group.
Kinesthetic Learning
Kinesthetic learning is one of the most effective learning approaches. Here, learners understand content and ideas by experiencing or doing things. They enjoy the practical experience. Kinesthetic learners are usually more in touch and con...
