Implementation and refinement of the lesson plan impacted quality improvement in my practicum setting by providing a systematic appraisal of curriculum offerings. In evaluating student learning capabilities, formative and summative measures were incorporated to establish the efficacy and significance of the lesson plan. Overall, refinement intends to guarantee quality improvement regarding student success and the effect of the lesson plan on learner performance.

A needs assessment guarantees that the curriculum would be relevant to the community’s needs and expectations, including its ultimate financial viability. Existing programs typically establish the need for curriculum revision based on recommendations from their accreditation report or consumers. The community significantly influences curriculum revision because it is intended to ensure it serves their health care and wellbeing needs.
