According to Miller et al. (2017), a direct correlation exists between obesity and heart attacks; from this line of reasoning, 49% of all heart attacks are preventable.

People from different locations continue to struggle with several illnesses that manifest with distinct symptoms. A large number of researchers target the reduction of the population of people that have medical complications. For instance, recently, World organizations like the World Health Organization, the United Nations, and World Federation for Mental Health conducted different research projects on the state of the world's health wellbeing. Coincidentally, several research results from various World locations concluded that mental illness had increased significantly in the last decade. More particularly, depression among young adults has a risk of upsurging the mental problems in the world. Therefore, the need to conduct more specific research on depression among young adults is vital to help in understanding the cause, symptoms, and possible solutions with the primary purpose of finding a permanent solution.
According to Celano et al. (2019), depression is a feeling of hopelessness, sadness, and despair that can stay for long, affecting a person's daily activities participation ability. The situation makes them feel powerless and can stay with them till adulthood. The leading cause of depression is the life challenges the young adults face that drain them emotionally and cannot solve them. Learning disabilities, parents' divorce, sexual abuse, physical abuse, and neglect are some of the leading difficulties among young people (Tamura et al., 2017). Different people respond distinctly to life challenges. Someone's preparedness regarding life problems determines their ability to avoid stress. For example, a teenager with unrealistic expectations has a higher chance of depression than one that is ready to face challenges (Celano et al., 2019).
