The national campaign to eliminate bullying in classrooms in the United States can be seen as part of broader essential human rights campaigns that have given children much of the same rights as individuals. However, until now, harassment rights had only applied to children who are members of particular groups, such as minority groups, people with disabilities, and survivors of sexual assault or religious bigotry.
STEPS TO TAKE
New age challenges have arisen in today's environment, which has been rendered smaller by technology. Put, cyberbullying is the intentional abuse of information technology to harass others. As a result, cyberbullying takes several forms. Name-calling and rumor-mongering have long been an uncomfortable and challenging part of adolescence. However, the internet and social media, and the prevalence of smartphones have changed where harassment occurs. Modern modes of social violence using interactive tools evolve as new technology, and connecting methods become more critical to everyday life. Cyberbullying has become more common due to social networking technology, putting significant pressure on families, colleges, and neighborhoods to stay aware and alert about the problem.
