I loved the topic of social media and its influence on young people. Social media is a popular tool within contemporary society due to its user-friendly features. Platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Tiktok, and Instagram have allowed people to connect globally, making the world a small place. Social media hugely affects young people's mental health by causing anxiety, sleep deprivation, and depression. Young people could develop psychological distress from social media as a result of cyber-bulling and poor sleeping patterns.
