Classroom rules and procedures are necessary for both teachers and students, and teachers need to ensure that they establish rules that students can follow. Involving the students in the creation of classroom rules and procedures is vital in ensuring that they are willing and able to follow them. The opinion of the students count, and failure to involve them in the process might trigger delinquency. Students need to be in an environment where their opinions are heard, and their complaints are taken seriously.
It is important, as a teacher, to demonstrate wittiness to my students by first understanding that humor is vital in the classroom, then recognizing that it can serve the students, and eventually use the humor that already is in my personality.
