A logic model is a graphical representation that depicts the shared association among the program’s activities, outcomes, impact, resources, and outputs. It presents the association between the program actions and their envisioned impacts (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 2018). In addition, a logic model identifies the program’s key constituents and how they are associated with each other. A logic model is characterized by the outcome and process components. Process components, or rather the planning elements, include inputs or the resources, activities (its approaches or events), as well as outputs. The outcome constituent of a logic model constitutes the intended implications. They include long-term outcomes (envisioned ramifications within years to decades), short-term outcomes (immediate impacts within weeks to months), and intermediate outcomes (envisioned impacts that happen in the mid-term or rather months to years) (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, n.d.).
