Curriculum is thoughtfully planned: Whatever the children’s ages, curriculum goals link with important developmental tasks and are comprehensive in scope. Teaching strategies are tailored to children’s ages, developmental capacities, language and culture, and abilities or disabilities. A major shift as children move into kindergarten and the primary grades is toward greater focus on subject matter areas, without ignoring their developmental foundations.

The first curriculum in this case is the mother goose time (Butkus, 2016). This is a well-developed curriculum as it addresses the various aspects of getting a child to develop their own growth pattern. As the child interacts with the material provided they are able to grow relative to their abilities and thus at their pace (Heather, 2016). It is a program that is developed for the preschoolers and therefore offers them a solid foundation before they can join school. Using the different material the child is motivated to find their own rhythm to learning.

The creative curriculum on the other hand is one that also well developed and works with getting the child to develop their creative abilities as the name suggests (Research Foundation, 2016). This is with reference solving problems that they are presented with and in the process developing an edge in bring solutions to whatever it is that they are faced with.

Curriculum is challenging and engaging: For all ages the curriculum leads children from where they are to new accomplishments while maintaining their interest and active involvement. Content that is engaging for children of different ages changes with development and with new experiences, requiring careful observation and adaptation.

The material that the child is presented with is to help them to form ideas and better present something that they are have created. With the involvement of a guardian such as a parent (Butkus, 2016). The child gets the chance to relate with material with respect to the various projects and the objectives of the same. It is important to note that the objects set the pace of the learning process.

In this case, the child is directed on what it is that they are supposed to do. By giving the child the freedom and an objective, there child will come up with a project that matches their creative abilities at the time. With time, the child will develop skills where they can create something of their own (Research Foundation, 2016).
