Your classroom design should include:
Classroom layout (i.e., where the desks/tables will be placed) that facilitates group learning.
Resources and technological tools, and where they will be located.
Traffic flow consistent with age-appropriate physical and social development.
Equal access to the room’s resources and technological tools for students of all ability levels.
In addition, write a 200-300 word rationale that explains how the classroom arrangement:
Minimizes distractions and maximizes classroom time and space to facilitate students working productively.

Introduction
Research has shown that classroom arrangement or layout can impact the learning process by between 16% to 25%. The impact here can be both positive or negative. If the classroom is appropriately laid out, it can enhance the learning process by at least 16%, whereas if it is poorly arranged, it can hinder the learning process by up to 25%. However, there are several factors that teachers should consider before determining what layout suits their class. Since no arrangements are deemed inadequate or insufficient, a teacher's objectives should become the number one determinant of their class arrangement layout. Other factors such as the lighting in the room and grade levels should also inform teachers on what arrangements suits their class. In this paper, a classroom layout that enhances group cooperation among grade-level learners is illustrated.

Tables/Desks Arrangement
To enhance cooperation among learners, teachers need to design classroom layouts that suit the same objective. Arranging the learners in groups shall therefore be the ideal design to strengthen collaboration between them. Secondly, the grade level learners in this scenario are not old enough to be completely independent on their work (Burden, 2020), and therefore, the grouping arrangement shall enhance their learning ability. Therefore, since the class has 30 learners, it will be better if they are subdivided into six groups, with each group consisting of five learners. Therefore, learners' desks should be arranged in a semicircle pattern with furniture for the first three groups being on one side and the others on the other side. However, learners sitting position should be in a manner that they face the teacher, whose desk should be placed on the other end of the learners' semicircle arrangement whereby the teacher gets to face learners. The semicircle arrangement is vital in ensuring that every learner is engaged directly by the teacher in equal measure, and there is no room for them to be distracted (Burden, 2020).

Technological tools such as computers shall be placed on the far ends of the classroom wall in a manner that will enable learners to face the walls while using them.
