The movement of people across Mexico and the USA has been on the rise in recent years. There have been several cases of undocumented migration. According to the zoom meeting lecture, the policies put on the line to prevent the undocumented migration of people have not been effective (Gender, Economic Inequality, and Health, 2022). It has affected individuals' food choices leading to people consuming cheap processed food, causing diabetes and other diseases. An ecological crisis like drought influences the food system across borders. The food system is a driver of change for climate change in different ways. An interconnection between migration across the border and the food system is a significant driver in the ecological system.
