The main concept covered during the Zoom lecture is the food politics issues from production to consumption. The type of food at the center of focus is organic foods. Moreover, the concepts of land, property, and industry are covered. When consumers buy the final products, certain factors such as branding, packaging, and health information are visible. However, the ecological and social relationships involved during production are not visible (Food Week 4 Lecture, 2022). Converting food into a profitable and saleable item is alienated from the consumers. Therefore, consumers cannot hold the organizations accountable, for example, if they are destroying the environment.
