The initial step is to frame your research question. It is effective as research questions determine the success of research by helping one define their topic of study. After the identification of the topic, the questions guide a student in identifying the key concepts of a study, narrowing and determining what precisely the analysis will consider. Additionally, framing research questions helps to determine key terms of the study. The terms test out a student’s central concepts of the research through identifying relevant information defined and utilized as the primary points of conducting research.

Research's first objective is to determine the focus of research by formulating it into a question. In my opinion, research answers questions about a particular issue. Since questions create the easiest and the best foundation of studying a particular topic, then utilizing it gives my research a focus. Therefore, when I determine the focus through a question, I lay the foundation of the research by identifying the central concepts of discussion; identify the keywords of the investigation that will be efficient in searching for information and supporting the topic of study.
