Sexual misconduct otherwise known as sexual harassment is continuously gaining traction as one of the major societal issues. Over the recent past, the number of persons particularly from the female gender reporting various forms sexual harassment has grown immensely. Sexual misconduct entails the use of harm, force and intimidation in order to gain satisfaction. As such, the heinous acts tend to leave victims with serious physical and emotional injuries/scars. Several scholars and professional institutions have expounded extensively on the issue of sexual harassment including St. Joseph University. The latter provides a comprehensive analysis of the different forms of sexual harassment and also provides vivid insights on the aspect of consent.
