My responses determined that my primary type is achievers while secondary type is experiencers. I agree on my categorization as an achievers consumer. The group characterizes one as an individual that works to maintain a commitment to the family. In doing so, one observes money as a solution to most needs. By becoming aware of my needs, I have developed priorities and devised ways to achieve them. Therefore, I become motivated to acquire the various products through working hard and making strides in life. Also, I am diligent, committed and goal-oriented towards high achievements and performance (Kardes, Cronley & Cline, 2014). For instance, at work, I uphold the status quo and respect. Moreover, I utilize my ability to be conscious of my needs and spending, hence, become a reasonable consumer. The personal attributes of being conscious of peer influence, changes and personal space makes me fully committed to achieving financial stability while avoiding external experiences that would derail my priorities (Weinstein & Cahill, 2014).
The experiencers consumer group refers to customers characterized by self-expression as their primary goal, and it describes me. As one of these consumers, one is driven by youthfulness, enthusiasm and impulsive tendencies and need to look good to make their purchases (Gunter & Furnham, 2014). Their primary focus in consumer consumption is expressing themselves through buying a variety of products, engaging in pleasuring activities such as sports, entertainment and risky consumer purchases such as the procurement of the latest and trendy outfits and keeping up with latest gadgets.
