China is one of the most industrialized economies in the 21st century. Its economic growth and development has been attributed to entrepreneurship and integration of modern technology in its industrial and entrepreneurial activities. The last decade has also witnessed an increase in the development of emerging world economies, thus promoting global economic growth. For its case, China has emerged one of the global economies due to the adoption and implementation of technological entrepreneurship as its strategy to pursue future economic development. In their study, Shan, Jia, Zheng, and Xu (2018) sought to evaluate the contributions of technological development and entrepreneurship to national and economic growth and development, with the case study of China. The findings of the study are, however, generalizable and they can be applied in any other economy to assess how the economy can benefit from technological entrepreneurship.
