World Health Organization, WHO, has already declared the deadly Covid-19 as a global pandemic. The pandemic has paralyzed many economic sectors, and the business sector is likely one of the most hit sectors in the world. It is businesses that run most economics, and disruption of chain supply should worry about every economy (Baldwin & Tomiura, 2020). The pandemic is spreading drastically across the world, with a growing number of cases in developing nations. As a result, rigorous measures have been developed to curb the spread of the virus, including imposing travel and transport restrictions. 
As many countries have banned international travel due to the contagious nature of the virus, the supply chain system will be disrupted. Companies are re-strategizing their supply chain approach to ensure that there is a proper flow of goods (Reardon, Bellemare, Zilberman, 2020). Nestle reported that production in some nations was paused due to the movement restrictions introduced by the government. One of the factors that will disrupt the supply chain during the COVID-19 pandemic is the evolving needs of the communities. This will require manufacturers of essential products to re-evaluate their supply strategy and prioritize based on the emerging needs of each region (Askew, 2020).
Travel bans affect economies adversely and may limit the supply of essential ingredients to manufacture food. So far, many countries, including the United States, have barred Chinese, Iranians, and other nationals from the European continent from entering its borders. This affects the supply chain since most people travel abroad for business purposes. Distribution channels are cut down by such bans (McKibbin & Fernando, 2020). Many supply chain challenges are arising from the present situation. With limited access to essential raw material, the ability of producers to manufacture sufficient food for the population is also limited.
