The company is offering more than 400 brands in more than 200 countries. 1.6 billion Servings were done daily. In addition to this, the products of the company include Fanta, Sprite, and Powerade. The main mission of the company is to refresh the world while giving the clients an inspiration which allows them to create the differences in their lives (Hafezalkotob and Ghezavati, 2015). The company integrates to create the flashes of inspiration which results in motivation among the consumers.
The company provides people with a fantastic experience of working that may present the world with top product portfolio, enhance the network of the partners which are effective, maximize the returns to shareholders and implement sustainable projects. The company maintains the record of winning as compared to its competitors. This research provides an understanding of the process involved in the supply chain of coca-cola. The research investigates different steps involved in the development of the methods which are linked with the development of drinks and juices (Hafezalkotob and Ghezavati, 2015). The importance of this analysis is to help identify the role of the holistic supply chain that may increase the knowledge to improve the functionality of a supply chain.
2.0 Operation and Supply Chain Management
The methodology which was employed with regard to the company’s operation and supply chain is the theory of the game. The application of this theory allocates the logic towards the strategies that are employed in the management of a system that may help to identify the weakness that is linked with the section of the system. The theory allocates the conflicts that may cause the issues of the final system (Hasan, 2013). Apart from this incentive theory was implemented that may identify the reason behind the selection of strategies in order to implement the system of supply chain management.
2.1 Operation and Supply Chain Process
Supply Chain process and operations could be categorized from the view of the consumer or producer products or services such as returning, delivery, planning and sourcing.
2.1.1 Planning. The flow of logistics of the supply chain allows the company to adapt the services to the customer’s needs. It’s all the supply planning and demand in the operations planning of sales (Tolonen et al, 2017). Planning supply is determined by the customer demand which is forecasted by the changes and promotion in merchandising in-store.
2.1.2 Sourcing. Coca Cola keeps much of the sourcing local and it may help to keep the supply chain fast and short as it is important to keep up with the demand. They have minimized the environmental control and consider sustainability in the value chain from sourcing the raw materials.
