Brief summary of the project
The new payroll /HR System is proposed to ensure that the payroll function company is more efficient and streamlines the HR and payroll processes. There is also a need to access validated and timely information at the right time for decision-making. Before the acquisition of the system, there is analysis and requirements followed by evaluating the possible solutions as the system needs to meet the organization’s needs and be a return on investment. Payroll accounting and HR staff members are the stakeholders who need to be informed about the system requirements (Cates, 2016). There is also a need to understand the various system components. The system provides precise calculations, and data is secure, which adds value to the organization.

Cost-Saving Efficiency- The project is evaluated to meet the users’ needs and improve cost efficiency while also streamlining the process. Initially, the organization will incur high costs because it is a new system being integrated. Over time, there is increase there will be a return on investments.

* Provide accurate, relevant, and timely information about the payroll 
As part of HR, there is a need to access data and information when required cost-effectively. An efficient system that meets the users’ needs does not require a lot of maintenance. There is a need for migration to the new system, which should help improve service delivery while improving the HR and payroll processes. 
* Simplify and streamline the payroll and HR functions linked to the payroll- The tools and processes are required to improve the HR and payroll capability where meaningful management information will help support decision-making. 
Project management structure
A dedicated project team will be used but will liaise with the accounting/ finance, HR, and IT staff members. When implementing the system is necessary to consider in advance the makeup of the project team (Cates, 2016). The system has a strategic relevance, and the implementation team will ensure that the project will be successfully incorporated. The organization’s staff members will not leave their usual routines even as they will be involved in the project. There is also evaluation of the user needs is essential as the useful life of a system also depends on whether the system adds value and is user-friendly.
