The US consumers are well known for the over-consumption of fuel. Over-consumption is a condition where resources usage outpaces the sustainable capacity of the network. An elongated pattern of overconsumption results in an environmental deprivation and the ultimate loss of resource sources (Davis, 2014). It is evident that overconsumption is dependent on overpopulation (Bunel et al., 2015). Presently, the citizens of the industrialized countries consume resources at a level of nearly 32 times bigger than that of the emerging states that comprise the largest number of the human population which is about 7.4 billion persons (Yii, Geetha, & Chandran, 2017). Particularly, the U.S. is among the most consumers of fuel; it is evident that the product is usually over-consumed.
The reason behind over-consumption of fuel by the US consumers is the high rate of taxes and rules resistance by corporations.
