As a servant manager, I have structured my leadership style to follow the pyramid shape; the people I lead came on top. Servant leadership is the fundamental requirement in the contemporary business environment. My principles are based on the qualities of a sustainable leadership model. I empower my followers so as to establish an enduring value in the society (Gill, 2015). Being in an influential position, I influence others to succeed by leading from the front through serving them. I have prepared to focus on other’s needs before considering my own. The servant leadership model appreciates the role of teamwork influencing success in an organization, therefore, my style of influencing others is through acknowledging their perspectives and giving them the best support they require to realize their personal objectives (GCU, 2004).
