Review the theories presented in the readings and consider how they might apply to your current organizations. Create an Annotated Bibliography that is comprised of the assigned readings as well as literature that supports the application to your organization or industry.
Example: The Keyton article lists topics of organizational communication research. Identify a topic that is of greatest interest to you or most germane to the type of organization you are in. Research and Identify articles connected to that research . Then I would use those to complete the annotated bibliography based on the theory or approach and my area of interest. You may also start with any theory from the other three provided readings as well.
This assignment will also support your ability to write research articles, posters, workshops, or presentations.
The annotated bibliography is a tool for organizing information regarding a topic.
You are required to annotate the 4 assigned readings as well as identify and annotate 10 additional resources that are relevant to the organizational communication research topic. The 10 additional resources should be within the following breakdown:
· 2-4 Reports or Non-Empirical Data sources (30points)
· 2-4 News or other media-related sources (30 points)
· 5-9 Empirical data sources (Referred Journal articles, Conference Proceedings, or Thesis/Dissertation studies) (30 points)
· Proper use of APA annotated Bibliography Stylistics (10 points)

There are a total of 14 annotations required (the 4 assigned articles and 10 additional articles of your choice as described above). It is recommended that you sort your annotations in the paper using the following sequence (Assigned Readings; Empirical Data Sources; Reports or Non-Empirical Data Sources; News or other media-related sources)
Complete and submit the assignment by 11:59 PM ET Saturday.

Basyir, L., Madhakomala, R., & Handaru, A. (2020). The effect of transformational leadership, organizational communication, and job involvement toward withdrawal behavior. Management Science Letters, 10(7), 1623-1632.
Establishing the causal relationship between three variables on withdrawal behavior formed the specific objectives of Basyir, Madhakomala, and Handaru's (2020) study. Among the specific objectives was determining how organizational communication negatively impacted withdrawal behavior. The study involved two hundred and fifteen employees who were randomly selected from the Regional Secretariat of Southeast Sulawesi. Findings showed that organizational communication had a negatively affected withdrawal behavior.

Burr discusses organizational effectiveness and other metrics, including organizational communication. He advocates that all the recommended factors should be measured for measuring organizational effectiveness because their success is key performance indices in the overall organizational effectiveness. The metrics have been determined based on a decade-long human resource data analysis.

The authors Dolamore et al. (2021) conducted a study to determine what role there was empathy in organizational behavior, especially during a crisis. They argue with the ground on the organizational theory approach while focusing on three communication strategies that could be used in public organizations when strengthening relationships.

Haroon and Malik (2018) sought to determine how organizational communication impacts organizational performance. They conducted their study in public and private university settings with students and teachers as participants. Linear regression analysis showed organization communication to have a significant impact on organizational performance. Therefore, the study recommended the adoption of an appropriate and effective means of communication to help solve academic and non-academic issues.
