I am delighted to present my selected project, The American Red Cross. This memo serves the purpose of enlightening people about the significant role of the American Red cross in society’s wellbeing and ways through which community members can support the American Red Cross. I feel that community support to the American Red Cross is crucial in the organization’s timely response to disasters and alleviating human suffering during emergency occurrences.
Our Product
The American Red Cross is a non-profit organization that provides compassionate care to persons in need by preventing and relieving suffering among American citizens and beyond. In addition, the organization donates time, financial aid, and blood in times of disaster and enlightens community members on disaster preparedness. The American Red Cross has evolved over the years but has remained one of the crucial non-profit organizations globally.
Community members can support the American Red Cross through several ways, such as volunteering. The American Red Cross thrives on community support hence the need for volunteers. Volunteers offer comfort to persons affected by disasters. Volunteers carry out 90% of the humanitarian work of the Red Cross. Therefore, community members’ active involvement in the activities of The Red Cross helps foster resilient communities, which are well prepared to handle a range of hazards should they occur.
