Super close and convenient to SDF...one right turn and you're headed to the airport. The rooms are immaculate, the beds are super cozy, the staff is very very friendly and helpful and the restaurant is convenient. I would say the only downside is lack of free coffee or continental breakfast in the mornings and as always, the room coffee isn't worth the bother. They were very accommodating as ‘Snowmageddon 2016’ approached and the room rates were awesome! I definitely recommend it!” • Three-Star Review: “The Jetway Plaza is a well-used hotel. You'll find imperfections on the walls, fixtures loose in your room and noises coming from the ceiling and walls in some areas of the hotel. The hotel itself is fairly clean, but it definitely is in need of large-scale renovations. The staff, however, is pleasant to deal with and generally helpful. The hotel does accommodate many professional events through several of its large conference rooms and dining areas. The indoor/outdoor pool is nice.” • Two-Star Review: “I stayed here while on a business trip. There is nothing spectacular about this place. It looks like a haunted mansion on the outside and the inside isn't much better. Because it's so cheap, people have hotel parties regularly. I was very glad I requested a quiet room, away from noise as some of my coworkers weren't as lucky! We were provided vouchers for the breakfast buffet in the hotel restaurant which was pretty tasty.” • One-Star Review: “Poor security and customer service. My room was assigned to another family. They were assigned keys to my room and entered while I was away. When I complained at front desk and to district manager I was continually made to feel that I was only complaining for a free room and not due to the lack of privacy and security. I was told this kind of stuff happens all the time and it was a clerical error. I was never offered or received a free room. Poor management.” Option Two: Chandler Hotel Contact: Michelle Li, Sales Manager Conference Space and Support • 40,000 square feet of conference space on two floors • 1 exposition room and 30 breakout rooms available • Conference space rental = $8,000 A/V Equipment • Microphone/stand, sound, projector and screens = $500/breakout room per day • Exposition room package for Welcome Address and Keynote Address/Awards Ceremony = $2500 per set-up • On-site technician = $50/hour per technician (4-hour minimum) Food and Beverage • Continental Breakfast = $24/person/day • Afternoon coffee and tea service = $50/gallon for coffee, $3/bag for tea (water is complimentary) • Reception with light snacks and beverage service = $3500 • All food and beverage charges also subject to a 18% service fee and 6% sales tax Guest Rooms and Amenities • Single or double rooms = $175/night + tax • Complimentary WiFi • Fitness Center • Indoor Pool • Business Center • Valet Parking • Champions Sports Bar, BLU Italian Grille and Starbucks® onsite. Location • Downtown Louisville: Guests enjoy proximity to the KFC Yum! Center, the • Louisville Slugger Museum, 4th Street Live, historic Main Street, and the NuLu District. • Connected via skywalk to the Kentucky International Convention Center • 15 minutes from the Kentucky Exposition Center, Kentucky Kingdom, and • Hurricane Bay, Louisville Zoo, and Louisville Mega Cavern Yelp Reviews • 4/5 stars overall • Five-star review: “I haven't stayed in this hotel yet, so I can't speak on that, but I did go to a conference here and I can say that i was absolutely blown away. It was possibly the best food, most prompt and pleasant service, and constant attention I've ever received at any hotel or conference. I'm sure it came with a price but at every turn there was someone waiting with water, fruits, treats, and you wanted for nothing during breakfast and lunch spread. At one point there was chocolate dipped strawberries, an ice cream bar, and a whole tray of full candies to choose from. My only semi-complaint was that the bathrooms were a bit far away from our conference rooms. It's a semi-complaint because with all that eating, it was probably for the best. To top it off, the location is superb - if I was an out-of-towner I would have loved being downtown during the evenings!” • Four-star review: “I called the same day we checked in and the rate was residual its. However they do a military rate which have us $100 off! Phew we will take that for sure! The hotel is actually very pretty inside. The staff was very friendly. It has champions sports grill and bar, and also a bourbon bar if you are just looking to have a night cap. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Overall our stay was great. We only laid out head down and were not here for more than 8 hours but it was at least a comfortable 8hrs. If we come back to Louisville and stay over again I will def be coming back here.” • Three-star review: This hotel is your average Midwestern downtown Chandler...clean, courteous staff, and comfortable. Though we stayed on a Saturday night, the hotel was a ghost-town as was the rest of the neighborhood. The bar had last call at 11:30. Worse, the Starbucks in the hotel, the only place to get a decent cup of coffee in the area, wasn't opening until 9:30 am. Because of this I'll never stay at this hotel again....not sure if I'll ever stay downtown in Louisville again! • Two-star review: Valet damaged my car but didn't say anything. The hotel tried to check me out two days early even though my confirmation clearly stated the correct check out date. The workout room is extremely dirty. My room had food crumbs on the floor when I checked in. So far, no bedbugs at least. Just a note, I was not compensated for the damage to the car, I was still charged the full valet price! Option Three: Hotel Drake Contact: Terrence Zuo, Event Sales Manager Conference Space and Support • 21,000 square feet of conference space • 9,280 square foot ballroom with reception capacity for up to 1,300 guests and banquets up to 700, plus 23 conference rooms • Conference Theater, providing theater for keynote addresses • $7350 space rental A/V Equipment • Hotel staff takes full responsibility for running your organization's complete audiovisual program, including design, engineering, installation, service, maintenance, equipment rental and operation. Hotel Drake will provide the equipment, set it up, operate and maintain it and strike it. • High-speed Internet access and Wi-Fi, including connections in all meeting spaces and venues • Total fee $11,000 Food and Beverage: • Continental Breakfast = 22/per person/day • Afternoon Coffee and tea service = $40/gal $4/bag for tea. (water is complimentary) • Cocktail Reception with hors d’oeuvres = 17/person per hour + 100 bartender fee. • Total is subject to 20% service fee. Guest Rooms and Amenities • Single or double rooms = $149/night +tax • 24-hour gym • Tennis court • Heated indoor pool • Pedestrian walkway to 4th Street Live • Complimentary Downtown Trolley Location • Pedestrian walkway connects to 4th Street Live!, Shopping, Restaurants • 15 minutes from the Louisville Airport • 15 minutes from the Kentucky Exposition Center, Kentucky Kingdom, and • Hurricane Bay, Louisville Zoo, and Louisville Mega Cavern Yelp Reviews • 4.5/5 stars overall • Five-Star Review: I ventured to Louisville for the first time with a group of friends. We stayed at The Hotel Drake right on fourth street and that was the best decision. Check-In - We called ahead and asked if we could check in a little early since we had reservations and we wanted to change and we had a drive to get there. The staff was beyond nice and let us check in early. At check-In they asked what we were in town for, after I explained the very kind lady (Nancy, I believe was her name) gave me free passes to get into bars at Fourth Street. She asked how many people was in my group, I told her we had 7 people but only 4 were staying at the hotel. She still gave my 7 free passes. Our room-we had an amazing view and right above Fourth Street. Everything in our room was perfect. I can be very picky and I can't think of anything I would have changed. Location- the hotel is perfectly placed if you are wanting to be right next to the restaurants and bars. We didn't have to worry about uber or how we were going to get back and forth. We walked out the main door and were right where we wanted to go. Overall we had a great trip and didn't have to worry about issues with our room! • Four-Star Review: This is a great location and very comfortable hotel. Rooms were clean and being downtown offered convenience to eateries. However, we booked the hotel to use the pool and on our last night pool was shut down which was major disappointment to my kids. • Three-Star Review: This was our first time in Louisville and the room was very nice, clean and well stocked as most are. However, there were no outlets on either side of our king size bed, on one side the lamp and ihome radio were not even plugged in, although the sheets were clean they were not fitted and once you layed in bed you got tangled up. The morning buffet breakfast was ok, but not all available options were set out. We did not know they offered pancakes, waffles or omelettes and other meals as part of the buffet. All in all it was still a decent place to stay but a bit of a disappointment for a 4 star hotel. • Two-Star Review: I booked this hotel on a whim for the Derby Marathon, price was good and location was great. The room was nice, king size bed, bathroom etc. However the noise outside the door in the central area carried up and was noticeable in the room. The adjoining room doors seemed like they were made of paper and the walls of cardboard, I could hear the conversations in each room. The tv was not in a favorable watching place, and many channels did not work. The internet was provided free of charge from the front desk otherwise they will charge you. I would not be staying there again due to the noise.

Subject: OPTIONS FOR HOSTING A THREE DAY CONFERENCE IN LOUISVILLE
I have gone through some restaurants to find out the most suitable one, which will cater to our need of hosting the 250 participants in the upcoming conference to be held in Louisville. This analysis considers available amenities, cost-effectiveness, services offered and the location of the hotel.
Out of the three available options, Jetway Plaza Louisville Airport stood out as the most viable choice to host the event. Compared to the other two, Chandler Hotel and Hotel Drake, it has better amenities, better services are offered, and its pricing is worth it, considering what they provide to their clients. Its 50,000 square feet conference space is enough to fully accommodate all the 250 participants, without any congestion, compared to Chandler Hotel with 40,000 square feet conference space and Hotel Drake with just 21,000 square feet conference space. Whereas Chandler Hot...
