Executive Summary
Tim's Coffee Shoppe has advantages and disadvantages, just like any other business. However, the shop needs to make greater use of its resources to improve its financial prospects. The financial steps Tim needs to undertake to increase his financial growth include improving his marketing methods. Additionally, he should ensure that he brings more clients to the shop. Tim's coffee shop is currently profitable enough to stay in business. Customer reports indicate that the coffee shop is performing well compared to other coffee shops in Illinois. A few modifications in management, human resources, marketing, and accounting are required to make the shop more efficient and lucrative.
Regulations and Management
Summary
In terms of business regulations and management, I have noticed that Tim has to emphasize increasing customer satisfaction by maintaining a positive attitude in the front office, staff areas, and backroom. Tim should implement more key standards and codes of conduct for all Tim's Coffee Shoppe employees and clients in adherence to federal laws (Purdue University Global, 2020). I will advise Tim that he needs to follow regulations or at the very least comprehend them. Tim Coffee Shop's vision statement should be caring and loyal towards their consumers and continually explore new ways to please their clients better. They should continue to improve the community by providing excellent service and products as per the state laws. Some short-term goals should include improving the sitting area, improving food offerings, and improving service precision. Long-term objectives include laying off some personnel as soon as possible and bringing the technology in the shop up to date, at the very least by having an updating computer. Additionally, Tim should make the place more organized with lower costs and increased customer satisfaction. Tim needs to consider this vision statement, the objectives, and possibly a second loan for the inner area of the front office. He might or might not be interested in others, but it will be a fantastic chance for the shop.
Strengths: They include accessibility, menu pricing, and Tim owning his freezer.
Weaknesses: Tim needs to improve his cash register and a computerized system to take it further.
Opportunities: Tim needs to be more proactive regarding customer feedback. Perhaps by sending out questionnaires, merely to acquire the extra information he needs to be more effective. He should also seek out new partners specializing in organic and environmentally friendly goods. Finally, Tim may benefit from looking to expand his firm in the long run.
Threats: Tim needs to boost his game if he wants to keep his market from being invaded by competition. A business is likely to lose consumers if it receives just one negative review. Tim cannot have something like this happen to him. To be successful, he must have sales and earnings.
Action Items
Tim's coffee shop could become the town's most popular gathering spot, bringing individuals together socially via shared interests and providing high-quality items. Its objective should be to provide a clean, friendly environment where...
