1. Human resource management is described as doing things that are within the HRM department. Planning helps ensures that the right goals are being worked on. Recruitment, on the other hand, helps ensure that the right people are being selected.
Compensation ensures that employees are being offered their salaries and benefits packages. This helps ensure that an organization is able to attract the best applicants. Finally, aside from compensation, there is training and development. Aside from offering employees salaries and wages, it is crucial that employers seek to develop the careers of employees through training and development.
2. There is the Civil Rights Act of 1964 but amended in 1972. The aim of this act was to offer protection to those who were discriminated against because of their color, race, national origin, gender, or religion.
In 1991, there was also the equal employment opportunity Act that granted people the right to find employment without considering race, color, or age. As per this act, employers could not discriminate against job applicants. Opportunities were made available to everyone.
3. First, I would make sure that the applicants are treated as customers. In the same way that customers are treated in a special way, I would treat applicants the same way. Their time will be respected and they will be made to feel comfortable. The second thing involves the use of an employee referral program. Within the organization, it is best to find people who can sell your vision and goals to talent and individuals they believe the firm needs.
The third thing would be to make sure that the job descriptions are as specific as possible. Potential candidates should not struggle to explain what they will be doing or what they would like to do.
