Global perspective is an essential aspect every career person must have if they want to succeed. It is essential to have comprehensive approach through which you can understand or perceive the world as well as one’s own identity. Through a global perspective, an individual can appreciate other people’s identity as well as the main things that assist in shaping culture. Through the course, I have been able to gain numerous insights and skills that are important in enhancing sustainable value within organization.
The lessons drawn from sustainable value framework presented key outlooks that assisted in shaping how I perceive the world, and possible approaches to link stakeholder value with societal issues. The sustainable value framework includes clean technology, pollution prevention, product stewardship, and base of the pyramid. These aspects ensure that the company is able to nurture internal abilities, manage the daily business activities, engage external stakeholders, and build opportunities for tomorrow. These tenets are important in building a global perspective within an organization. They ensure that everything that I support is aligned with the potential impacts within the society and how I can effectively respond while enhancing the shareholder value (de Jong, 2018).
