Background
I had an experience of distributive negotiation with my boss in an organization where I rendered my duties as a part-time worker. The pay rise was the subject matter of the process. I learned about the pay package of my colleagues with the same experience and skills as mine. I also discovered that my employer had been mistreating me by paying me lower than the market's average amount. This realization made me feel undervalued.
