Business descriptive change focuses on the analysis and design of workflows and processes within an organization. It aims to help the team rethink on how the work is normally done in order to improve customer service. It is also called business process re-engineering. Incremental change in business is a method of introducing many small, gradual (usually unplanned) changes to a project instead of a few large, rapid (and extensively planned) changes. An example of incremental change is a manufacturing company making hundreds of small components that go into a larger product, like a car. In this case, improving the manufacturing process of each of these integral components one at a time to cut costs and improve process efficiency is termed as incremental change (Bertschek & Ulrich., 2001).
