Marlowe play has so many happenings and most of them are interesting but the intriguing part of the play is Faustus decision to sign over his soul to the devil in exchange of another human being to boss around. Ironically the scenario is twisted and confusing as Faustus is willing to become a servant for him to own a servant. He is willing to lose his will for him to have another person will, and he purposively gives out his authority over his own body just to get authority of another individual body. Angles are in the society perceived as protectors and when they warn Faustus, there is an early sign of what he is about to do will not benefit him at all, the angles tell him “think heaven and heavenly things” (5.20) however he is observed dismissing this advice saying God does not care about him.
