 Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, many aspects of the human lifestyle have been affected, including media and entertainment. CBS had to endure the impact of the pandemic, since people’s ability to gather and watch sports has been compromised. NFL faces new challenges in promoting its games and gaining viewers for advertising and profit for partnered companies. Now more than ever, watching content on different media is easier and made more available through various channels and applications.
 Superbowl is joining OTT in the context of the global events from the past year, which alters the course of action of marketers. Consumer analytics dictates how marketing strategy can be modified to accommodate reference groups or groups of people who are influenced in terms of purchase behavior. Through market research, consumer psychologists can get valuable information to identify the reasons why people buy products over other alternatives. Primary and secondary groups are influenced differently, with primary groups (groups with face-to-face interaction) being easier to sway in terms of consumption and buying of products and services.
