A good manager should also be a great communicator else he will fail in his management. The manager should not only give instructions or let the subordinates know his expectations but they should also listen to the employee’s ideas on their views concerning most of the issues affecting them. It’s the role of a manager to define the work which should be done through effective communications. For the manager to ensure that he does not loss his authority its by clearly indicating on areas which he should be consulted, explain on the targets and goals which need to be met and offer support which is required all through the process to attainment of the goals set.
