As much as a prototype is a design tool broadly used to help create new products that are much like the actual models, there still exists some of the most fascinating features that come along with this tool. Basing facts on this, this writing has buried feet to review one of the articles on the art of prototyping. Jocelyn's article, "On prototyping: The simplest solution never comes first" is one such, web based and which will prove to be of great use in identifying these features.
The Intrigues of Prototyping
One of the features in prototyping that completely will appear surprising is the fact that the simplest solution never comes first (Jocelyn, 2014). Let's think of it this way; in construction of any design that any person could have in mind, it is always a fact that the simplest version works out best. Buts it is also true that the first version is never the simplest. Surely, it is so amazing that it could be possible to transform the primitive visionary ideas in our minds into a welly furnished, smart looking 3-D design with all features included and testable. Fascinating as it is, Jocelyn says that, "we never start with this nice-looking picture of our vision, of how something should look at the end"; but rather, we start with that rough unattractive copy from which the art of fidelity comes in and furnishes into clarity with time and apparently defining the very basic purpose of prototyping in design development.
