ADDIE is an acronym representing the development process through five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation.
Analysis: To understand the training needs of a department, I will need to first analyze the mission, vision, goals and any strategic plans in place for the department. I have to understand, past, current and future performance and place of the department to locate the best combination of training skills required for the department to move to the desired level. Once the questions are answered, I develop the training needs and plan for that particular department.
