The Master’s in Epidemiology course offers students with training in the various causes, distribution and control of infectious diseases in the society. The course takes two years to complete divided into four semesters. However, the duration ranges from college to college. The course provides students with necessary skills in demography, management health economics and behavioural sciences. Therefore, this course is valuable and is orienting in nature. * Types of epidemiological studies (descriptive, observational and interventional studies): this subject is aimed at equipping the students with important analytical skills that will enable them evaluate results from various studies published in journals in a critical manner.
